I am Conor Lawless, a mathematical/computational biologist working in the Institute for Cellular and Molecular Biosciences (ICaMB) in Newcastle University. I am affiliated with ICaMB and the Centre for Integrated Systems Biology of Ageing and Nutrition (CISBAN) at Newcastle. I'm also a member of the team which runs the Newcastle High-throughput screening service which carries out high-quality, robotic screens (e.g. drug screens or genetic screens) on arrays of microorganism cultures. You can find out more about my work on my work web-page. I do a lot of progamming in my spare time (these days in Python, R and C++, probably in that order), and I occasionally try to build up some kind of description of that here. I also take photographs and make videos.
There are more links to things on my personal website here. That website changes shape randomly every hour, and you may have to hover over the various symbols on there to figure out what they link to!
If you want to get in touch, you can find my email address on my University Profile, or drop me a line on twitter: @cnrlwlss or Google+: +Conor Lawless.
